The two students were survived by their two boys. Trevor βTreβ Lewis is now a Freshman at the same school his parents once attended.

In 2005, the Eric Cross Brooks University community was rocked by a tragic car accident that claimed the lives of both Angel Cade and Robert Reeves. As we reflect on this heartbreaking event, let's remember those we lost and honor their memories. Several students were killed and others were seriously injured. Their names will never be forgotten. The entire ECBU community was devastated by the accident and came together to support each other in the aftermath. An investigation was launched to determine the cause of the accident and ensure that it could never happen again.

Both students were mourned by their fraternity and sorority members via campus candle light vigil.
